Happy Happy Halloweeney! Our WITCH HAT! Made of Fabric which is properly grubbied and antiqued through a primitive process, this hat is positively perfect as your table centerpiece. Oh and it smells of Baked Cinnamon and Vanilla...

Top is stuffed with fluff sculpted with stitching. Topped with a Bell. Coffee staining is used to distress the fabric. This is not wearable. The plaque (I know it's reflecting) reads: "Come Sit for a Spell" Hand-stitched banner on the hat is attached by a rusty-looking safety pin and it reads: All Hallows Eve. A new twist on our USA blocks from last year. First we stained the wood and then, surprise, surprise... we backed the painted lettering with paper! (You should click on the the pic to see the paper patterns) We finished it up by connecting the whole set together with a knotty twist in a barn red wire~

We sold out of these at a recent show and if you act quick, we'll send off your very own set in plenty of time to decorate for the 4th!

(it's easier on us) Pick your favorite color or a color that will complement where it will be used. This gift can sit on your dresser, desk, kitchen counter. I have one in my kitchen where I put a motivational thought each day. If you are a 'visiting teacher' these are great to give to the people you visit. Just a teaser as to what's coming. Our "Stuffers" were a BIG seller last year and we are itchin' to be stichin' again.

We put our fabric creations through an aging process to make them look properly primmed and 'tiqued.

Painted, stained and baked to perfection these pumpkins look and SMELL so good.

We recently made 74 of these 1"x1" blocks for a Women's Gathering as a take home gift. They were used at each table setting to hold the a small note stating the theme of the event.

You could give these as a gift with an inspirational thought (visiting teaching messages, perhaps) or use them as place card holders at the dinner table.

Another completed order. Our baby blankets add a soft touch. Practical and pretty, they meet the needs of any baby. We matched this custom order to the decor of the room. Using a third color on the back, softens the colors on the front.

Anyone needing a baby gift for an expectant mother? These blankets are $18 plus tax. We can include a small plaque, adorned with the words "baby dreaming" for $4 more. You can either hang it on the wall above the baby's crib or place it on a door knob to let passersby know.

Basically the same thing we did for our hanging SPRING. We paint the wood in complementary colors to the paper. Lettering is painted onto the paper. We distress the edges and apply a stain for an antiqued look. Each block of wood measure 3.5"x 3.5" and is wired to the next. Easily personalized.

'Grab a Bag' Holder

Hate having your plastic bags stuffed in a drawer, under the sink or multiplying on your pantry floor. We make a decorative bag holder. Simply ball up your plastic bags and stuff them into our holder from the top. The bottom of the holder is cinched with elastic to prevent your used grocery bags from falling out, but it is open wide enough to easily pull one out when needed. (I keep one in my laundry room for dryer lint)

Candle box

Don't you think this is a fun home accent? Our candles have a power cord that we make the box around. We use the ol' barn wood when we have some on hand. But most of our orders our made with pine and painted to match our customers home decor. We make interchangeable plaques for every season and holiday~ or we could customize a plaque to fit your home. This particular box is filled with evergreen garland and pips, but it is removable. As the seasons change, or the weather changes or even your mood swings in a different direction, simply replace our filler with your choice of ivy or flowers. (Box is filled with flower foam for your arrangements.) We're presently attempting to make a box like this for our front doors. We want to replace our old, tired wreaths!

Wouldn't your princess look positively precious dancing in this? Yards and yards of Tulle. 2 layers of hot pink and 2 layers of purple make her want to step lightly on her tippy toes and twirl. Every 12 inches is adorned with flowers in complimenting colors.

How did we do it?

Lettering was painted onto paper that repeats the phrase 'life in bloom' ~ click on 2nd picture to see paper up close ~ and applied it to the wood which was painted in the same green. Next, we sanded the edges of the wood and paper for a distressed look and sealed the entire piece for outdoor use. Each lettered block is wired to the one hanging below.

This sign can be customized: phrase, paint color, paper choice, font and block size. We also make it wired together horizontally for shelf sitting. $16 (carrots and peg board not for sale)

The first photo is of a special purchase. The BEARD~families are forever sign was distressed and we applied the stain in a way it would highlight the center of the name and it also focuses in on the main point that this FAMILY IS FOREVER.

Mind Your Manners

This was the first sign I (Kris) made. It hangs in my kitchen. My mother-in-law owns one that she allowed us to borrow to doll up our house in preparation to sell. ~She has the best taste~ I remember hearing my oldest son, then 5, reading her sign. He turned to his 2 year old brother and said, "That sign says to 'Say Please and Thank you'~ it means to MIND OUR MANNERS". My younger son, from that moment on, would recite what his brother had said every time he passed the wall decoration. I knew I had to have one for my very own. I also decided by decorating my house with simple sayings I would inadvertently be teaching my kids. I hope you'll give us an opportunity to help you show everyone who enters your home exaclty what your family is all about.

Valentine's is a holiday often overlooked. Kris and I are both guilty of trying not to make a big fuss out of it. It gets referred to as silly and unimportant, but is it really? A holiday honoring a Saint who married people that were forbidden to tie the knot. It's a holiday about love and being with your love. In attempt to make this holiday more special for ourselves and others, we have created some small holiday decor that can be placed around the house. Turn a shelf into your holiday merriment.
